Sligo Stream Festival

stephenOur News

Even though we have all been confined to home, we have been able to raise money while enjoying ourselves listening to some great music from some of our best local artists.

On the October Bank Holiday weekend, we would normally be enjoying a feast of musical events as part of the Sligo Live Festival. That couldn’t happen this year unfortunately, however thanks to the efforts of John ‘The Map’ Callanan we were able to enjoy some great entertainment from the comfort of our own homes.

We enjoyed music from Seamie O’Dowd, Dean Mahon, Luke Devaney, and Eoin Troy to mention just a few, and we were honoured and delighted to have Cathy Jordan bring the festival to a close with an exclusive set to support the work of the Neurology Support Centre.

Thanks to John for organising, to the White Hag brewery for sponsoring, to all the musicians and music venues involved in putting on these gigs, and of course a special thanks to all you who watched, commented and donated to the Neurology Support Centre.
