Mpath is your pathway to support from the Neurology Support Centre.
It is a new confidential support service that provides you and your family with a wealth of health and well being resources.
The Mpath telephone helpline is available 24 hours per day, 7 days a week, 365 days of the year to assist you and your family. Please contact us to find out more.
These direct services include access to qualified professional counsellors and psychotherapists who will provide support as you are dealing with your diagnosis.
Other supports are available for depression, anxiety, stress, grief, bereavement, addictions and work related stress.
Should you wish to use these specific counselling services, we can help with the cost of up to six sessions to counselling for you and / or your immediate family or carer.
There are many other wellbeing services available, including advice on financial and legal matters, life coaching, career counselling, consumer advice, medication and specific support for non nationals and their families.
We offer these services at no cost to you and your family and all of these are also available on your phone, or on a live online chat.
These services are available to both the person with the neurological conditions, and their families / carers. We recognise that diagnosis, and living with, a neurological condition affects not just the individual but also their family and loved ones.
By offering support to family members and carers, we believe this will provide benefit to all involved.
