At the Neurology Support Centre we provide a support network for those impacted by a neurological condition. We are working towards a world where people suffering from a neurological condition have a brighter future.
Peer Support Groups
Our weekly meetings are facilitated by an experienced therapist. Members appreciate being able to meet others in similar situations, and find the meetings a great source of information and friendship.
Counselling
We provide access to experienced counsellors for patients and their families. Our team are vastly experienced in all aspects of therapy and crisis management.
Reflexology
Reflexology can reduce pain and psychological symptoms, such as anxiety and stress. It is important to take time out for yourself, and it will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated.
Mindfulness
Monthly mindfulness sessions give our members a chance to take stock, get grounded and promote a sense of well-being. This can then help them to deal with life’s ups and downs in a calmer way.
Transport
Our wheelchair accessible vehicle is available to bring members to sessions in the Centre, and to other medical appointments.
Advocacy
Our member-led Advocacy group is very active in looking at issues they face. They have the experience and expertise to understand the issues faced by those with neurological conditions and their families.
