Our weekly Peer Support Groups are one of our most popular services. Taking place twice a week, it offers a safe place where people in similar situations can meet up with others who understand exactly, because they are also living it themselves.
Members look forward to chatting over a cuppa, sharing what is going on with their lives, and offering and receiving advice and information from their peers.
Often, someone with a neurological condition will be reluctant to share their frustrations at home, as they don't want to burden their family. Our group meetings give them a chance to share what is going on in their lives, and to both offer and receive advice and information from their peers.
There are stories, new friends and a lot of laughter, while still providing the benefits of a safe and supportive environment to learn from each other's experiences.
Please get in touch to find out more.
